This position will help define and build a product roadmap to enable students, counselors, and schools to efficiently navigate the college admissions process. You’ll learn our platform and collaborate with other team members to deliver value to our users. The position will interact primarily with small cross-functional teams and partner with engineering, design, and content creation to find elegant but practical solutions to both business and user challenges.
You will:

-Collaborate extensively with executives to develop VIZE’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap
-Leverage your passion for technology and problem solving to drive product outcomes
-Lead brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders to clarify client needs and identify product solutions
-Work with our engineering team to plan development sprints and timelines
-Coordinate with sales and marketing on the GTM plan for future feature launches
-Develop team leadership and succession plans for the company
-Communicate product updates to internal stakeholders
-Evaluate competitors to ensure that VIZE remains a novel and robust platform
Qualified candidates for this position:
-Currently in or graduated college
-2+ years of experience of operating/managing consumer software products
-Experience finding avenues to understand customers’ needs and relaying them to others
-Experience leading aspects of roadmap strategy and definition, product requirements, feature delivery and trade-offs of a product, and end-to-end product delivery
-Strong consumer product instincts and an intuitive understanding of why/how certain product ideas will succeed
-Attentive to detail with the ability to integrate those details into a broad vision
-Strong, efficient communication skills and internally motivated
-Experience with producing presentations, executive summaries, and communicating top-line findings to team members
-Comfortable with the fluid nature of startups and adaptable to changing goals
This role will provide:
-Part-time employment at 15-20 hrs/wk
