As demand for high-quality edtech increases, we’re looking for an outstanding Product Manager to work with the product, engineering, design, and business teams to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.

As a Product Manager you will define new features and refine requirements based on user research and data insights, lead a cross functional development team that is involved at every stage of discovery and is passionate about shipping value to the customer, and set strategy based on a deep understanding of your customer, product and the wider market.

Our ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of core product management processes and techniques, combined with experience in a variety of contexts, and is able to take on responsibility for a specific product area. They are confident in taking ownership and working self-sustainably to deliver.

We’re looking for experience of end-to-end delivery of features, from contributing to product strategy, ideation and problem definition, through to the tactical execution of product requirements. Effective decision making is key to success at CENTURY and we’re keen to see a love of data and the confidence using it to make informed decisions. Our platform is rapidly scaling, so we need someone who can balance stability and reliability with genuine innovation.

We’re open to candidates coming from a range of backgrounds, especially marketing, technology or customer success.

Specific requirements

Essential

2+ years’ product management experience.
Ability to prioritise workload and drive projects forward independently, setting the vision as well as being on top of the details.
You’re a great storyteller, able to bring a variety of stakeholders into the conversation to generate the best outcome.
Passionate about the customer and able to effectively champion them throughout the product development life cycle.
Knowledge of product and software management tools, e.g. JIRA, confluence as well as Agile product development and SCRUM.
Knowledge of the education technology market or direct experience in education is desirable, and a passion from improving lives through education is essential.
The successful candidate will have the right to work in the UK.

Desirable

Experience of working with API products and knowledge of AI and/or recommendation systems would be a huge plus!
Experience with Sketch, Figma or InDesign.
Data analysis skills and experience working with data teams to embed metrics into a feature.
