What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead strategic discussions and ideation sessions with business leaders to form productive, trusting relationships
Cultivate product positioning and benefit statements, partnering with the marketing team to create collateral that generates excitement and makes it easy for users to adopt and understand the benefits
Define a thoughtful, detailed and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases and products
Write business cases, perform ROI analyses, and prioritize and write user stories; partner with development team to break things down and plan them into releases
Focus on building value for our business, not just adding features; develop innovative and unique product offerings by leveraging knowledge of the key market challenges that exist in competitor products
Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, while also developing key stakeholder relationships in various locations
Engage with business stakeholders to learn about the industry and acquire a deep understanding of its processes
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
3 years of related experience leading technology-related product marketing activities, positioning products and partnering with graphics and marketing teams to create videos and collateral materials.
It’d be great if you also have:
5 years of software product management experience within Agile development environment
Ability to simplify and articulate complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion to deliver solutions that bring most business value
Proficiency with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio
Understanding and use of basic SQL
Experience working in organization with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders
Mid- to senior-level product experience, including leading meetings and presenting to executives while being their main resource for all things related to technology innovation
Proven experience in leading innovation, influencing stakeholders and driving a product roadmap
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
