Product Manager – Booking Engine

Location: REMOTE (US or Canada)

Within this role, you will be leading our Booking Engine product, with the goal of turning it into an industry-leading solution that drives direct bookings for hotels. This role will require in-depth research and analysis to discover opportunities for improvement, lead the implementation of these improvements, as well as continuous measurement and iteration. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in B2C web commerce, ideally within the travel space, as well as hands on experience with modern web page design and technologies.

What You Will Do:

Own end-to-end functionality of the Booking Engine product, ensuring the product retains a high conversion rate that guests enjoy engaging with
Contribute as the Product Owner of a cross-functional scrum team
Work closely with customers and partners, as well as engineering, design, product marketing, customer success, and sales departments to define, develop, and execute a go-to-market plan for various features related to the Cloudbeds Booking Engine Product
Define, document, and communicate objectives, requirements, and constraints for engineering initiatives and product releases
Deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications while also pursuing long-term company goals
Deliver architecturally aware, delightful products to our customers

You’ll Succeed With:

5+ years proven record working on B2C e-commerce products and solutions that leverage technology to create delightful user experiences
Hands-on technically curious web/ecommerce mindset. You understand how to use modern web page technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience launching new products into a market and growing adoption
A natural talent for mediating competing interests and finding creative solutions, while positioning yourself as a trusted and knowledgeable partner
Experienced with all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including ideation, solution design, setting measurable adoption goals, project planning, product marketing, overall execution, and iteration
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions

Bonus Points For:

Past experience as a project and/or product manager for a travel or software company
MBA or other graduate-level degree
Strong cross-cultural communication skills
