Product Manager – eCommerce

How would you like own a new multi-channel, eCommerce platform that will be used by millions of customers across the world?

At IAG Loyalty we enable people to enjoy incredible experiences by collecting and redeeming the iconic Avios currency, and our Product Department is leading our transformation into a digitally optimised, loyalty products and services business. We’re focused on creating industry leading customer and partner services, role modelling agile ways of working and creating efficient, effective, personalised products.

This is where you come in.

You’ll be the Product Manager for our new online eCommerce ‘Reward Platform’, a platform that allows customers to purchase hotels, car hire and experiences and has high strategic importance across IAG Loyalty and our wider group (British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia and Vueling)

You’ll relish the opportunity to shape the product vision and drive and implement an exciting, feature-rich roadmap that will delight our customers, and ultimately deliver business value.

Leading the team, you’ll use your agile background to deliver against the roadmap and drive the product performance against agreed KPIs

How else will I add value?

Your passion for design will see you use your strategic and creative thinking to devise and create exciting customer propositions brought to life with compelling UX.

You understand the importance of data, using it to ensure any decisions to deliver against the backlog are data-driven and customer validated.

Keeping stakeholders informed is second nature to you. You’re as comfortable presenting your product’s performance to Board members as you are talking through new features with our contact centre colleagues.

You’ll have a natural curiosity and desire to learn. You’ll be fully aware of  external e-commerce developments that could be relevant to hotel, car-hire and experiences – from changes in customer journeys and mechanics across other loyalty programs, to new and developing technologies and loyalty trends in general – and ensure that we continue to optimise, develop and evolve our product in line with customer needs

What experience would you like me to have?

You’ll have strong eCommerce experience, or a background in delivering customer-focused web services / apps

You think ‘customer-first’, and you’re well versed in working with Product Designers and developers, to create amazing purchasing experiences for customers, across web and mobile.

You’re design focused, with a passion for creating simple, compelling UX and UI

You have an innovative mindset – someone with a sense of urgency who is excited to create something new, iterate, make mistakes and learn and share that learning with others

You’re a passionate and engaging communicator both within IAG Loyalty and across IAG, with the ability to influence diverse audiences

Although this is not a technical Product Manager role, having an interest in and some knowledge of technology is an advantage.

If you have experience managing others and building teams that would be great, but even if you haven’t, we’d still love to hear from you
