Discover is one of the products in SigFig’s ecosystem and this is the team that is squarely focused on it. Think of Discover like a “digital financial doctor”. It helps consumers:solve existing financial problems, diagnose tougher ones, uncover non-obvious ones, proactively prevent issues before they even occur, and lastly refer to additional professionals when necessary.

The Opportunity: Senior Product Manager
As a Senior Product Manager you’ll have two parallel responsibilities: discovery & delivery.
As part of continuous discovery you will work inside a “triad” with design & engineering to brainstorm and prototype solutions to solve consumer problems. As you build deep knowledge about our buyers, users, consumers, data, industry, domain, business, company, & product; the triad will benefit from having you on the team as the oracle of surrounding context to succeed holistically. Then, in collaboration with sales & marketing, the triad will work to test viability in the market by taking the concepts consumers love and seeing how well they sell. While we can’t completely eliminate value, feasibility, usability, & viability risk without testing in the real product the goal is to do our best at only delivering high ROI outputs.
In parallel, as part of the triad doing continuous delivery, you’ll be responsible for taking experiences you validated in discovery and building them into production grade software the financial industry can reliably run their business on. Here, it’s expected you are familiar with world class delivery techniques & are highly analytical to figure out how we can evaluate success. Of course, this is a team effort so you’ll be partnering with other talented members of the team to deliver value to the market as quickly as possible in the form of production grade software.
