For our customers, financial advisers, mortgage advisers and accountants, we help them grow their business by connecting them to people who are looking for their help.

We believe there is a huge opportunity to not only connect advisers with consumer but to help our professional adviser customers manage those connections through conversion to paying customers and beyond. This role will work across both our B2B product (Unbiased Pro) and B2C product (unbiased.co.uk).

Unbiased continues to grow and now is the right time to hire our first senior product designer. As a small expanding business, we need someone that can both design product and manage our team of two designers. You will play an integral role in scaling Unbiased by helping to create our design strategy, tools and processes that help us create the best product for our customers and users.

 

You’ll be responsible for…

  • Day to day team management including one to ones, performance management, including goal setting and people development
  • Product discovery: work across problem and solution discovery including usability testing
  • User research: being comfortable with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and using data to inform your decision making
  • Create concepts and prototypes, testing with users and rapidly iterating
  • Design activities across UX and UI
  • Working closely with product management and technology to deliver product
  • Participate in wider design activities such as workshopping, ideation and design critiquing
  • Be happy presenting to individuals, teams and the wider business
  • Collaborative working across multiple functions and stakeholders

To Succeed you’ll need…

  • Proven ability to rapidly build an understanding of a new business, products, users and customers
  • Commercial understanding and the ability to understand the impact of your work on key business metrics
  • Concise and effective communication – bring an opinion to the conversation
  • Growth mindset and the desire to improve the business and the wider product and design team
  • B2B SAAS and B2C experience
  • 4+ years of product design experience
  • 1+ year of management experience is desirable, including performance management and people development

Personal information about unsuccessful candidates will be held for 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed, it will then be destroyed or deleted.
