Our new product, Tribal Edge, is set to revolutionise the experience for students and institutions across the world and enable them to engage, learn and achieve in a personalised and engaging way via mobile and cloud-based services.
We now have an opportunity for a seasoned Product Manager with a wealth of experience in either the Higher Education or software sector to join us to play a leading role in owning the strategic direction and prioritisation of the Tribal Edge product family. This is a key role in our Product Management organisation, and is a fantastic career step for the right candidate.
The role
This is a senior, strategic role responsible for thought and team leadership and influencing Product Management policy, process and best practices.
As Senior Product Manager you will work closely with the Product Director, other Product Managers and wider market stakeholders to truly understand the Education market and our underlying business needs. You will work closely with the Product Director to ensure that the product strategy aligns to market and company strategy, and translate this into a strategic roadmap.
You will also oversee and manage the workstreams of key Product Managers and Product Owners on the Tribal Edge team, influencing these workstreams and using data provided by the team to make key decisions about product mix, strategy and priorities.
Drawing on your wealth of experience and understanding of the market, you will also be a real evangelist for the Tribal Edge product and vision both internally and externally, and will help to embed the principles of Product Management in our business, along with acting as a coach and mentor to other less experienced team members.
The person
You will have extensive proven experience in a similar role and/or extensive knowledge of our current products and market context – with practical experience and expertise in the Higher Education sector and with HE software products being of particular interest to us.
Naturally, you will be able to clearly define, document and articulate product capabilities and quickly form productive, effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
You will also be a commercially astute leader with strong operational capabilities, along with being flexible and resilient enough to cope with the demands of a fast-moving organisation.
