Verve is building a global platform that enables ambassadors to sell the products they love to their friends in return for experience-enhancing rewards. Our software already powers the ambassador programmes for some of the biggest music, festival and events brands in the world and we are currently expanding across Europe and making our first forays into sport and travel. Working to enhance, optimise and innovate on our product you will take ownership of our B2C customers (ambassadors and buyers) and be responsible for taking the product to new geographies, opening up new verticals and maximising the value exchange between clients, ambassadors and their customers.
In the next 12 months you will:
Be the voice of the ambassador: You will conduct research to deeply understand what makes ambassadors and buyers tick. You will become an authority on ambassador activation, motivation and retention. You will understand who the buyers are, and why they choose to buy from an ambassador. You will constantly experiment with the best ways to motivate and incentivise ambassadors and maximise customer conversion whilst maintaining authenticity and credibility as core values of our product.
MVP and beyond: You will use lean methods to validate your hypotheses. You will look at existing ambassador behaviour and actively experiment to learn, iterate and improve.
Drive the product roadmap for ambassadors & customers. Use the needs of our clients, ambassadors and buyers, alongside the company goals to craft and deliver a product roadmap that maximises our revenue growth whilst maintaining or improving customer NPS. You will gather and apply learnings from the wider events, marketplaces & ecommerce industries as well as our existing advocacy software, to build a world class experience.
Product Leadership: You will inspire both your own team of developers and designers and the broader product organisation with a clear vision for your product. You will communicate clearly using wireframes, specs and stories to help the team keep focussed on delivering value everyday. You will work in collaborative, cross-functional teams and be laser focused on building products we can all be proud of.
Maximise ambassador value: You will have a laser focus on scaling advocacy, maximising the life time value of a single ambassador and customer to both our clients and to Verve.
Product Marketing: You will advocate for your product both internally across our organisation, and externally to support our sales and account management teams.
- An experienced B2C or B2B2C product owner, with experience in marketplaces or events industries a bonus
- 3+ years of direct product ownership experience
- Demonstrable experience in a high growth start-up
- Highly analytical, extremely customer driven and relentlessly hard-working
- Willing to travel (minimum expectation of one week per quarter)
