Product Manager

MessageMedia exists to give people back time to do the things they love. Our platform allows our customers to fully leverage the most popular and most recognised messaging service, that also has the highest conversion rate.

With more than 20,000 business customers, who service over 10M Australians we’re the absolute market leader. That said, we’re undergoing some change. We’re transitioning from a Technology business to a design-led Product business. As such our product offering is being redesigned and expanded, meaning  we need to grow a world-class Product team. The first part of that puzzle is in place with our Chief Product Officer – Ken Johnstone – joining us. Check him out on Youtube.

Our vision is to create a suite of beautifully interactive messaging products and we’ve got a whole bunch of super smart ideas, creating value by leveraging AI, Big Data and more. Some of them will go on to become fully fledged products and some may not make the cut. That’s where we need your help.

You’ll definitely need an understanding of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, feature prioritisation, dependencies and risks, design & development, and launch in a fast-paced digital environment. You’re probably going to need at least a couple of years’ Agile experience, driving long-term product strategies while managing tactical goals and stories, sometimes across multiple products.

Our work environment is really the best of both worlds, we’re like a start up within an established, stable business. Take all the risks you like, iterate and validate but don’t stagnate.

If you’re a passionate, self-starter with room to grow and learn then come on board. You’ll get to be part of a growing business and work with a smart team, on meaningful, high impact products. We’re kind of like a start-up within an established business, so you get to try stuff, fail fast, iterate and come up with ways to make our customers’ lives easier and ensure they love doing business with us via thoughtfully designed, beautifully simple products.

With ambitious goals, a Melbourne HQ, we offer some great perks for our team such as health and wellness initiatives, regular events, training and development programs, flexible work options, birthday leave, advanced technology stack, breakfast bar, end of trip facilities + more and more in the pipeline.
