Reporting to the Director of Transformational Change you will be responsible for developing the remit of the team and creating an environment for product and service design to thrive in CQC.
You will champion user centred design (UCD) and work closely with the Head of Strategic Planning & Change to ensure that UCD is firmly incorporated into change methodology. Working closely with colleagues from the Technology function you will understand how digital technologies could be exploited to meet business objectives.

What you will bring…
A strong leader and manager, you’ll have experience of leading the design, redesign and maintenance of products and services at scale in a complex organisation. In addition, we are looking for someone with a robust understanding of government strategy around digital, data and technology, with experience of aligning this to working practices.
You will need to demonstrate a strong ethos of team working with a focus on team and individual wellbeing. An approach of working in partnership and collaboration with stakeholders and a drive to influence at the most senior levels and challenge constructively in order to achieve the right outcome is required.
With excellent written and oral communication skills, you’ll be able to forge strong and successful relationships and are credible and persuasive with senior managers.
