Product Manager, subscription retention

We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to join the Membership team at Hearst’s Media Platforms division. In this role, you will participate in the development and product management of the suite of tools which supports Hearst Magazines’ fast growing memberships business. You will play a critical part in the development and evolution of a new and strategically significant product domain which supports Hearst’s world-renowned publishing and lifestyle brands.

Shepherd product roadmap through discovery, development and delivery
Build relationships and work closely with design and engineering counterparts, as well as multiple stakeholder teams
Develop subject matter expertise on the membership retention strategy across 30+ brands
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, using this data to improve existing products and identify new opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build alignment behind plans, priorities and tradeoffs
Lead communication between developers, designers, and business stakeholders to resolve conflicts, address dependencies, and remove impediments to delivery
3+ years in product management and technology management in the area of consumer-facing websites, preferably for media & entertainment
Experienced in and understand the complexity of working in a mature, geographically spread organization
Have a track record of building relationships with stakeholders, partners, clients and also individual team members
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
Proven track record of full responsibility through the product life cycle in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Has shipped highly successful products
Extensive cross-functional and senior stakeholder exposure and management
