Digital Product Manager

Full-Time Remote

LeadDev.com is recruiting a Digital Product Manager responsible for the development of website and related products. LeadDev is an events and publishing company serving managers and leaders working in software engineering. We have a growing reputation for helping those leaders and managers to build and run successful software teams.

You will be joining us at an exciting time when we are rapidly expanding our audience among the four million technology leaders globally. You will play a key role in implementing a new content management system as well as overhauling our website look and feel.

The Product Manager will sit on the senior management team and will report to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

Implementing a new content management system and overseeing a redesign of the website
Supporting the company strategy of growing our online audience by optimising the way we present our content
Take a key role in driving user engagement and building our community
Helping to optimise how we drive leads and response to sponsored content and advertising
Optimising our eCommerce activity driving sales to our face-to-face and digital events
Work with our head of data to ensure we can measure, learn and improve what we do
Championing users needs and implementing an evidence based approach to decision making
Working with internal and external delivery partners to explore emerging opportunities

Skills and experience required

To succeed in this role you will have some of the following skills:

Experience of digital product management, managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
A tenacious and collaborative approach to problem solving, the curiosity and intellect to explore ideas and opportunities while achieving ambitious delivery targets
Ability to explore requirements and clearly communicate product vision and priorities with a passionate, expert and multidisciplinary stakeholder group
Ability to work in an environment of change
Solid technical understanding of web technologies
Analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from qualitative and quantitative data
An ability to design experiments and undertake research to improve performance of our digital products and increase understanding of our audience
Passionate about taking a user-centred approach to product design and development

Experience of working in digital media is desirable but not essential.

This is a full-time position, which can be performed remotely from anywhere within the United Kingdom, with the expectation of attending twice-monthly team meetings in London.
