Overview of the Role
FOUNT is looking for a Head of Product to create a market-leading platform and lead both the product team and the effort to create a more product-driven culture across the company. We’re looking for someone who can lead by example and also empower and coach the team to build what matters for customers, users and the business. This person would report to the Chief Experience Officer (CXO). The Head of Solutions and Heads of Customer Success (US and Europe) also report into the CXO. This person can be based in either the UK, Germany or the US. US candidates will need to start early to ensure significant overlap with colleagues on the East Coast and in Europe, including the existing product team (London / Hamburg).
Responsibilities
Lead a world-class product team
- Coach and mentor the existing team (develop new and relevant skills, clarify what it takes to get to the next level, etc)
Amplify the voice of the buyer and user through feedback loops that inform the product direction
Level up Product Operations (roadmapping, development process, KPI updates, go-to-market release planning, etc)
Be the authority on the product suite, including the underlying platform capabilities, applications of proprietary data to markets served and competitive differentiation
Foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment
Clarify the product vision, strategy to realize it and near-term roadmap
- Contribute substantially to the product vision, identify and address large-scale product opportunities, provide strategic recommendations to the FOUNT leadership team
Become an expert on the market to help create a new category and differentiate from competitors
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive stakeholder alignment on product KPIs, vision, strategy, roadmap and releases, across engineering, sales, marketing, solutions and customer success
Required Qualifications
- Around 8 years of product management experience (mostly in B2B products)
Around 3 years experience at a founder-led startup – understands the ambiguity, pace and roller coaster
Around 2 years managing a product team – hiring, coaching and leading
Ability to build customer and user centricity using qualitative and quantitative feedback loops
A keen eye for good product design (UX and visual) and experience managing designers or working with an agency
Proven ability to level up the product operations of a team (ex doing customer discovery, reporting on release metrics, roadmapping, etc)
Demonstrated commitment and ability to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Building products for HR and talent leads
Creating an entirely new category or market
Replatforming a legacy product and smoothly transitioning users to the new product
Executing a Product-Led Growth strategy
