The Student Lifecycle User Experience Product Owner is pivotal in driving the transformation of the Student Lifecycle at Imperial College London. With responsibility for leading the user experience capabilities within the product line the role holder ensures students remain at the centre of the transformation that will deliver a seamless digital journey from outreach to alumni.

With responsibility for the industry leading Student CRM product and the student facing My Imperial product, the role drives the simplification of the technology estate and delivers against the ambitious transformation plans.

As Product Owner for the Student Lifecycle User Experience you will be instrumental in transforming the student experience at Imperial College London. This is a wide reaching role, one where you will have the opportunity to lead a transformation that will be recognised across the Higher Education sector.

Duties and responsibilities

    • Establishes a vision for the product portfolio, developing portfolio/product strategy and clear roadmaps for each product within the portfolio.
    • Communicates the vision of the student lifecycle transformation and the product roadmaps to all stakeholders across Imperial College London.
    • Manages stakeholders of various levels across Imperial College London.
    • Management of suppliers; commercially and operationally.
    • Leads the Student Lifecycle User Experience team, building a high performing team to deliver the transformation.
    • Responsible for managing and reporting on product line budgets.
    • Bringing innovation to the Student Lifecycle product line through technology and fully utilising the capabilities of the technologies implemented.
