TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS business on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.
Since our launch in 2017, clubs have used TransferRoom to facilitate over 3,000 transfers, and we are proud that today over 650 clubs from 60+ countries and 100+ leagues are currently using the platform.
We’re looking for a Head of Product Design to lead our design team across all product segment: Clubs, Agents and Players.
Outcomes:
- Take ownership of our acquisition and growth design/UX strategy
- Ensure that commercial thinking permeates our designs and features
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of our products
- Take a data driven approach toward identifying and solving problems for both commercial and customer needs
- Continuously identify opportunities for growth in engagement, retention and monetisation as well as finding ways to lower barriers for adoption and onboarding.
- Proactively solicit and provide feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for quality, while also taking on mentorship
- Help improve design processes and help build our growing product design team culture

Who you are:
- Proven experience in a ‘hands-on’ product design leadership role with the responsibility of executing at every stage of the design lifecycle from research to ideation to delivery and with design systems
- Previous experience of designing for SaaS platforms and ideally marketplace-platforms
- Proven experience leading and building a design team
- Understanding of key business metrics and data, as well as how it connects to design
- Problem solving skills that enable you to ask meaningful questions, analyse the data, and scope design opportunities
- Great track record for working closely with product designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Comfort and confidence leading group activities, and communicating decision making that cascades across platform
