The Role

This is a key role within the Product Management team for Moonpig. You will work extensively with designers, developers, local product managers, local marketing teams, customer services, and the senior management to define, design and deliver compelling, market leading online propositions for Moonpig.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the overall product process including insights, requirements, roadmaps, design & development, and measurement
Define and deliver the product roadmap and own its success metrics
Evaluate the market environment regularly and make recommendations about future inate requirements for the development team and sign off those developments once completed
Critical Success Factors:
On time on budget delivery of projects & roadmap features
Harmonised working relationship with all stakeholders
Measuring and owning the success of developments commissioned
Provide frequent and pertinent communication about projects, product performance, roadmap updates and other efforts to stakeholders. Maintain a sense of urgency to resolve any key issues
As product owner, communicate requirements for remote and internal development teams and work closely with them to oversee the project planning process (timelines, milestones & resources) to help ensure delivery times and quality
Familiar with Agile and represents stakeholders and users in the scrum team. Writes requirements in the form of user stories in collaboration with the scrum team (business analysts, designers, developers, UX). Demos the product to stakeholders and gathers feedback.
Acts as the voice of the user and champions user, insight driven product development.
Provide a strong focus on performance using various analytics, BI and analysis tools (e.g. funnels and drop-off rates). Deliver pre, during and post implementation data analysis showing the impact of changes made
Ensure the overall quality of the delivered products and customer experience
Actively monitor the market environment across technology, brand and consumer activity and make recommendations about future innovations and product direction to evolve product proposition

About you:

-You’ll have a proven track record in shipping beautiful, effective e-commerce products that are effortless to use and maniacally pursuing CRO and funnel optimization.
-Ideally you would have knowledge of, experience with and a healthy scepticism of:
-Modern e-commerce best practices including, CRO, A/B and MVT, SEO, PPC, PSPs
-Analytics and testing platforms like optimizely, GA etc.
-UX specifically around IA and site structuring.
-Modern approaches to software development including agile (Scrum/Kanban), Lean, XP, BDD and TDD.
