We are looking for a Product Owner with experience working in Agile software teams to deliver high quality software and digital products for both the musical instrument and consumer electronic markets.
As a core member of the team, you will lead and collaborate with a focused, cross-disciplinary team of developers, QA engineers and designers. By defining the product, you will provide direction throughout the product lifecycle and work closely with our Product and Program Team to enable successful and efficient delivery of our products.
This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a disruptive category of music making devices we are creating called ‘Connected Music’ – a network of hardware and software, platform and developer products that will revolutionise how music is made.
What you’ll do:
- Provide direction and work closely with a focused team of developers, QA and designers
- Prioritise the team’s work based on the company roadmap, stakeholder feedback and customer reports
- Create and own product specifications and documentation
- Own and organise the product and sprint backlogs
- Plan and manage product releases and their distribution
- Work closely with the Program Team to set timelines and communicate progress internally
- Liaise with the Marketing and Sales Teams on product information
What you’ll need:
- Experience working on cross platform software applications, across desktop and mobile
- Experience in working in an Agile software team
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies with experience of putting these into practice
- Strong musical background, especially in audio production and synthesis
- Proven experience in being a team leader
- Excellent communication skills, flawless written English
- Superb and demonstrable time-management skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
Bonus points:
- Previous experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Experience managing releases on mobile platforms
- Experience working with Project Management tools such as JIRA and Fogbugz
