Where you’ll be within BESTSELLER
 
You will join BESTSELLER as a Technical Product Owner on our system engineering team with our technology department. Your key responsibility as technical Product Owner is to understand, prioritize and define the system engineering roadmap.
Mapping new requirements, and simultaneously supporting the team to focus on the initiatives of the roadmap is part of your daily routine. To contribute to this process, you write the stories and acceptance criteria, you own and manages the roadmap and maintain a refined backlog. In short, together with the delivery manager, you are responsible for the full development cycle.
As a technical Product Owner, you will also have the responsibility for our system engineer team to push for innovation on all systems supporting our business. Together with the delivery managers, technical leads and internal stakeholders you will identify the best way to support and enhance the current technologies and potentially implement new solutions.
You work on initiatives of diverse scope requiring evaluation of a variety of factors. Here, understanding of technology trends and the current business is essential. In this position you act as an advisor to the team in achieving goals. And last but not least, you attend and actively participate in scrum meetings such as sprint planning, refinements, stand-up and retrospectives.
What you’ll be doing
  • Own the backlog and drive all initiatives concerning our system engineering roadmap.
  • Create focus by aligning the sprint planning to the business releases.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team and key stakeholders to meet your timelines and ensure high quality delivery of our systems
  • Collaborate with technical leads to identify ideas and improve the architecture, integrations and system scalability
  • Support daily operations, when needed to send out reports and do ad hoc analysis for management
  • Resolving production issues and escalations
Who you are
  • Solid understanding of backend technologies like Amazon AWS, Java, databases, development principles like continuous integration, continuous delivery and version control.
  • 3 years hands-on working experience with Scrum.
  • A track record as Scrum Master or Product Owner is a pre.
  • Technical background in software development as Technical Lead, Architect and/or (Technical) Product Owner.
  • Experience in Agile project management, setting priorities and resources allocation.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Portfolio is a plus.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree
