  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create screendesigns and prepare its HTML/CSS/SASS assets for our front-end engineers

REQUIREMENTS

  • Passion for designing products that customers love
  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role for state-of-the-art web and mobile (Android and iOS native) applications: we explicitly look for someone who has designed responsive web products as well as state-of-the-art Android and iOS applications according to the specific Android/iOS style guidelines
  • Portfolio of design projects
  • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Mockflow and InVision)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Pragmatic and decisive nature; on the one hand you enjoy convincing others of your design ideas, on the other hand you are a good listener and able to give into reasonable ideas from your team members, e.g. the product owner
  • Strive for perfection / strong detail orientation while having good time-management skills
  • Basic skills with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and experience with template solutions like Bootstrap
  • Experience in setting up Wordpress sites and customizing Wordpress themes and pages is a plus
  • Fluency in English
