Working for a fast growing, award winning Education Technology company, reporting directly into the Managing Director, your job responsibilities would be:
Taking previously identified product opportunities – evaluating and ranking those in
conjunction with Technical Manager and the Board of Directors.
Identifying new product opportunities and features in conjunction with all employees, customers and market feedback, evaluating and ranking those in conjunction with Technical Manager and the Board of Directors.
Evaluating product line life cycles of current products and further ways to extend those, increasing the profitability of existing products.
Co-ordinating requirements for current and future products.
In conjunction with the Technical Manager, writing product specifications for additional
product features and future products.
Driving a product solution across development, sales and marketing and communicating that out to all employees.
Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Analysing potential partner relationships for the product.
Overseeing the marketing function of the business.
Liaising with the Sales and Marketing to ensure they understand the product positioning, key benefits and target customer for New Products.
Defining product release requirements in conjunction with the Technical Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree essential, preferably in Business Studies or Marketing.
CIM Diploma desirable.
5+ Years as a Product Manager, preferably within a Technology or ideally an Education Technology company.
