The Product marketing team’s responsibilities include understanding market requirements, developing market strategies, creating customer facing roadmaps, positioning and messaging for different target groups, field enablement and evangelizing the respective value propositions to relevant communities within and beyond DataSift.

The Director of DataSift Product Marketing will:

– Provide thought leadership by articulating DataSift’s vision and direction to key customers, analysts and press at briefings, interviews, conferences and events.
– Articulate the unique business value of the solution portfolio through compelling positioning and messaging focusing specifically on the areas of Big Data specifically focusing on Social, Unstructured, and Real-Time streaming data.
– Create and execute high-impact marketing plans & campaigns to support product launches as well as ongoing awareness, promotion and demand generation.
– Define, support and create compelling content, collateral, website, advertising, campaigns, references and sales tools (marketing bill of materials).
– Develop a consolidated view of the market in Market Requirement Documents which serves as input to corporate strategy, joint business planning and product definition.
– Work with Product team to develop customer facing roadmaps that share DataSift’s strategy and direction.
– Champion the global community of DataSift stakeholders for the solution to include marketing, sales, development, product management, alliances and services and promote global alignment.


– Several years of experience in product/solution marketing.
– Extensive experience in the Big Data, SaaS, Data Integration, Business Intelligence or Analytics space, or related areas including, data warehousing, Operational Analytics, Predictive Analytics solutions.
– Proven experience in developing market requirements that drive development and revenue planning.
– Demonstrated experience working with partner eco-systems.
– Strong team skills, especially working in cross-functional teams. Strong relationship-building and alignment skills.
– Experience with thought leadership, press and analysts.
– Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal (in English).
– BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
