As Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for creating the consumer experience and building the audience for AutoScout’s portfolio of sites and apps across Europe. You will lead a cross functional team, including product managers, UXers, marketers and engineers, focused on either Acquisition, Engagement or Retention. You will be equally happy operating at a strategic leadership level or on hands-on delivery of products and will have the direct management skills to lead a small purpose-driven team of product managers, UX designers and engineers.

What we need from you: 

  • Discovery:
    • Analyzing product performance and potentials and generating actionable insight
    • Discovering user needs using both qualitative and quantitative techniques
    • Leading hypothesis-driven ideation based on data and forecasting impact and prioritizing opportunities Development of quarterly strategic product plans and mid-term product roadmaps and backlogs in an agile environment
  • Delivery:
    • Planning and ensuring delivery of inspiring products that move the needle on the team’s purpose and KPIs
    • Hands-on product development: leading cross functional delivery teams of product managers, UXers, researchers and engineers to deliver app and web-based products
  • People Management: leading and developing a team of two or three direct reports
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing stakeholders (IT, Data, Customer Segments, Top Management, etc.) to ensure commercial viability, technical feasibility

What we need you to bring: 

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in digital products
  • Fluent in English (required) and German (a plus)
  • First leadership experience and ability to inspire and develop others in the day-to-day
  • Passionate about digital technology and creating great consumer experience
  • Driving change and happy to create structure in a fluid environment.
  • Data-driven and hypothesis-driven with the ability to make sense out of both quantitative and qualitative data and experience in A/B-Testing
