Zalando Technology is the base of our e-commerce platform. We’ve developed most of that base in-house: the shop, internal systems and our logistics software. We work in short cycles in order to adapt our software continuously to our processes.
We mainly use open source solutions when it comes to development and system operation and work in small, agile teams. The technology department comprises the teams of feature and platform engineering, user experience design, product management, quality assurance and business intelligence. Your Responsibilities:
- Identify market opportunities and define and share the product vision and strategy
- Handle the ownership by acting as the CEO of your product
- Warm up with product discovery, perform while product development and rule the business by launching innovative products
- Executing usability studies and doing research and market analysis to ensure customer satisfaction
- You know how to define and analyze metrics on a daily basis about the success of your products
- Change the world of fashion brands working together with Zalando by creating from scratch new B2B services
Minimum Qualification:
- You have worked in product management for at least 4 years and have been responsible for multiple products
- You know how to evaluate a business e-commerce opportunity
- End-to-end product management experience with software/web technologies
- You are an expert in the product discovery phase and familiar with the principals of Lean UX
- Hands-on software development experience in an agile environment
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
