Workday is looking for an experienced, innovative and strategic thinker to join our product management team. This role will be responsible for defining key experiences for Workday Payroll customers. This person will drive the product roadmap and help identify opportunities to use innovative technologies to scale our business.
Develop product requirements based on data-driven approach and inputs from stakeholders across the business (e.g., executives, other product teams etc), integrate requirements into the product roadmap and provide accurate timelines and status back to stakeholders
Partner with Engineering, UX, Content teams to coordinate development, implementation, and roll-out of new customer experiences on multiple surfaces.
Develop metrics, systems, and processes to measure the effectiveness of the experiences we’re delivering and be able to identify opportunities for further optimization.
Work with Leadership to define product vision and roadmap customer experiences, including use of data science to provide modern and scalable experiences
Identify new areas for product feature development by analyzing customer requirements, market trends and competitive gaps.
Conduct meetings and design sessions with external customers translating into product requirements and product vision
Experience, Skills & Education:
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, business analyst or consultant
Strong product management and strategy experience in a SaaS environment
Demonstrated success in working with product teams – leading collaboration with engineering, UX, project management & product teams; shipping products that deliver results.
Proven success in driving the entire product lifecycle, from identifying market problems and defining solutions to launching and conducting post-launch evaluations and ongoing improvements.
Strong analytical skills and a drive to experiment; demonstrated ability to use data to drive decision making in product development
Experience collecting, synthesizing, and prioritizing product input from multiple sources (users, leaders, competitors, market factors, partners, engineering, management, etc.).
Experience Mapping user journeys through journey mapping or story map techniques and writing user stories / acceptance criteria
Experience working in a large organization with multiple teams, structured service design life cycle and executing in Agile framework.
