We have a fantastic opening for a Technical Product Manager to lead the development of our Product Intelligence product portfolio. This is foundational technology that enables us to gain deep understanding of products on the web, and underpins several of our products for publishers and end-users. This is not a role that involves any coding, but you should have the ability to understand a complex technology stack and work effortlessly with engineers and data scientists to deliver products.

We deliver tools, technology and services that allow online publishers (blogs/ websites/ forums) to earn some serious cash from their content. We work with thousands of publishers globally and make their lives easier by automating their affiliate marketing activities.

About the role

Product Managers at Skimlinks are expected to take ownership of their part of the product portfolio and guide them through their entire lifecycle – concept, launch, optimisation etc. They are also leaders in the organization, able to motivate teams to rally around exciting product visions.

As a Product Manager your key responsibilities include:

Bringing product strategy to life by translating it to products we build and ship!
Working closely with our Data Science and Engineering teams to define the use-cases and product roadmap for the product intelligence stream.
Be the voice of the user – understand who we build products for and passionately advocate their needs within Skimlinks.
Driving product development in an agile environment to build and launch new products and features
Effectively prioritize the competing demands for product features and improvements.
Be data-driven to understand the impact of all your products, and create feedback analyses to inform iterative product development.

About You

We are looking for someone with the following experience / skills:

You have substantial product management experience and demonstrated experience building and launching products.
You have launched complex technical or API products that have demonstrated growth in scale or revenue.
You have experience working closely with engineers and data scientists in the agile methodology
You have strong spoken and written communication skills, and the confidence and energy to inspire and motivate a team
You have direct experience working with one or more of :machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, A/B testing and huge data sets.
You have a burning desire to work in a startup that is making waves in the online publishing and affiliate marketing world

Preferably we would also love if you also bring some or all of:
Educational background in Computer Science/Engineering and industry experience as a developer
Experience with/familiarity of the online publishing/ editorial industry, especially around product metadata
Ideally you will have experience working with Agile tools like Jira.
