BIMA Mobile uses mobile technology to bring insurance and health services to consumers at the bottom of the pyramid, on an unprecedented scale. In just eight years, we’ve built a customer base of over 26 million subscribers in 15 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America. We launched our first mobile health service in 2014: an innovative telephonic doctor’s consultation service that provides low-income customers with immediate and effective access to medical advice.
As Junior Product Manager, you will play an instrumental role in evolving BIMA’s mobile health product for higher customer value and engagement.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and leading elements of the mobile health product development and product management agenda, reporting to the Global Health Strategy Manager
- Project management of the development of mobile health product modules and their testing and implementation in the markets
- Gathering and analysing customer insights from our different markets
- Monitoring impact of our mobile health services through structured dashboards and reporting, and identifying opportunities for service improvements and economic efficiencies
The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial and creative person with strong product and project management skills and experience, preferably in BTC and/or digital environments. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics or an equivalent technical degree will also be an advantage.
