Pricing is all about providing attractive prices to our customers. We make sure that our customers receive the right price on key articles that matter to them across all markets and product categories. Effective price setting in our shop demands a sound logic, stable processes and the right empowerment of commercial stakeholders. For this we process vast amounts of data, build a solid data foundation, develop automated pricing processes and improve our algorithms and predictive models.

With our products, we are responsible for one of the drivers of customer satisfaction at Zalando – impacting the shopping experience of millions of customers. This is a high-impact opportunity where you will combine product management methods with excellent stakeholder management skills and solve problems based on sound analytics and a consumer mindset.

 

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE

Customer Centricity. You will drive the development of the internal tech product to maximize the value we generate to our customers. You are passionate about simplifying daily work and empower our stakeholders through smart solutions.

Analytics. You will be responsible to conduct fast and straight to the point analyses that support the development of the product and provide sound analytical answers to product related requests.

Ownership. You will shape the product and roadmap of Pricing & Forecasting and set the right priorities to achieve our corporate goals by understanding our internal customers’ challenges, consumer shopping behavior and competitive environment.

Stakeholder Management. You will create close relationships with business stakeholders across all markets and across all product categories to discover their needs and expectations on our internal product.

Collaboration. You will work closely with our product team, the dedicated delivery team consisting of data scientists and engineers, the analytics team and commercial stakeholders to bring life to our vision. You will also align with internal and external partners to ensure a solid data foundation.

 

YOU ARE SKILLED

Expertise. Your expertise in Product Management (3+ years) includes building scalable products, and effectively managing feature and requirement documents and team roadmaps. You bring experience in activities such as epic writing, backlog grooming, sprint planning, task prioritization, OKRs, roadmap management, daily standups, Jira, product/feature mockups and processes diagrams are in your DNA. You are able to dig into our data landscape by using statistical and data access languages to promote the development of new algorithms, guardrails and measures.

Business acumen. You possess a deep and applicable understanding of how a business achieves its goals and objectives. You have a good understanding of how to think about and successfully make the right business decisions based on data and thorough KPI analysis.

Collaboration. You have experience working smoothly with engineering teams, getting their buy-in on topics, balancing between time to market and code quality.

Communication. You can effortlessly communicate with and internal and external stakeholders. You have the ability to synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others and attentively listen to our stakeholders.

Uncertainty. You will be part of an area where our challenges are not clearly defined: you are comfortable working with uncertainty.
