Product Manager

Position Summary:

Knight Point is seeking Agile Business Analysts to join a DevOps team charged with both the operations and maintenance of 48+ applications and the development of new innovating application solutions. The successful candidate will help to align their Business Analyst discipline to our build, measure, learn web application development methodology. The candidate must have a strong understanding of how business process and requirements evolve into user stories and Human Centered Design artifacts. This role will be responsible for conducting stakeholder interviews, user interviews, requirements workshops, leading backlog grooming sessions, interacting with Product Owners, end users, and other stakeholders to illicit and test new requirements, test and validate existing requirements, and create new user stories. You will provide support to developers and testers, and facilitate prioritization of user stories. You will be a key member of our team with a strong knowledge of Visio, Github, Leankit, and Balsamiq. You will also have experience working in Agile and Kanban environments.


  • Associate’s Degree or 5+ years of experience in the business process analysis field, systems engineering discipline or human centered design role
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile software application development environment
  • Experience with Visio, Github, Leankit, Balsamiq
  • Possesses an understanding and experience of Lean Startup Principles including their role in Lean Agile and Lean UX
  • Understanding of Human Centered Design Methodologies and best practices
  • Proven experience coordinating with multiple technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users
  • Experience creating visual artifacts such as story mapping and flow diagrams that help explain complex workflows and process
  • Experience in interviewing stakeholders and synthesizing their feedback to uncover patterns and themes
  • Experience prioritizing feedback, creating feature lists and defining a minimum viable product (MVP)
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be able to pass a Federal background investigation

Preferred Experience

  • DevOps environment experience preferred
  • LeanKit or equivalent Agile Lifecycle Management tool
  • Mockup and sketching of customer requirements
  • Graphics design and conceptual illustration
  • Bachelor’s degree


  • Work in a rapid development environment creating prototypes and proof of concept applications
  • Work with software engineering practices, techniques, and standards
