Comic Relief are looking for an ambitious product manager to transform the way our supporters can donate to us. Our ideal candidate will have experience delivering products in highly regulated industries, building systems and data flows which allow for real-time reporting and seamless user experiences. We’re looking for a product manager who can make recommendations and seek new data through testing to make sure that Comic Relief maximises donation income. You’ll be working across the business to make sure we are using the best donation mechanic for activity, whether that’s a broadcast moment on BBC1 or a live sports event at Wembley Stadium.
We need someone who is an excellent communicator – gathering user needs and business requirements while also ensuring we’re complying with regulators. Experience of working across different technologies such as Premium SMS and of managing relationships with external stakeholders would be extremely desirable for this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop business requirements into a backlog of user stories and work closely with internal and external development teams to deliver the products
- Own the end to end strategy and efficient operational delivery of text to donate
- Manage Red Nose Day night of TV Call Centre product, including recruitment of a network of centres, policies and contracts, training and monitoring of performance on the night
- Ensure all services are compliant with GDPR, industry regulations and BBC requirements
- Management of third party supplier relationships and corporate partners delivering value in kind services to Comic Relief
- Ensure integration of donations mechanisms with data systems and platforms such as Gift Aid and income reporting
- Monitor, share and evaluate delivery and measure progress to ensure value is delivered
- Alongside the Technology Partnerships Manager keep abreast of market trends in donation mechanisms and trial innovative new systems in response to business & consumer needs
- Be an ambassador for collaborative cross-functional working across the organisation
