Product Manager, Lottery Business Applications


The Product Manager, Lottery Business Applications will be responsible for the end to end product strategy, roadmaps and lifecycle of the company’s application offerings for selected business applications. Current application focus includes management of Retail Market Insights (IGT’s cross-jurisdictional initiative to help lotteries optimize same store sales and drive retailer expansion) and support of Performance Wizard (IGT’s comprehensive, dashboard-driven solution for analytics and business intelligence). This individual will manage roadmaps, generate product requirements, lead product development, prepare plans for product introductions, and develop pricing models and marketing strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation and development of the Retail Market Insights (RMI) product, including:
    • Database normalization, development, and maintenance
    • New jurisdiction onboarding processes
    • Dashboard publication and distribution
    • Execute RMI training sessions
    • RMI Usage Reporting and RMI user support
    • Collaboration with RMI engineering staff for updates and maintenance
    • RMI portal support (create accounts, reset passwords, troubleshoot user experience issues)
  • Drive automation of normalization processes required to maintain the RMI product
  • Support the internal IGT functions that require RMI data (without reporting support), including: Executive / Senior Staff, Same Store Sales, Retail Execution, Site Resources
  • Training and support of new and transitioned staff
  • Own the product roadmaps for the assigned applications
  • Represent and communicate product strategy and vision in line with the businesses long-term goals.
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of product(s)
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to gather and assess existing product development and enhancement opportunities as well as new product concepts and ideas
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Marketing and Account Management to develop go-to-market strategy, define pricing and competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with the User Experience team on the customer experience
  • Manage R&D budgets, forecasts, metrics and measures. Monitor and evaluate the results
  • Evaluate and establish program priorities in line with the business objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date market opportunity and competitive analysis
  • Accountable for quality of the products
  • Responsible for ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration


  • Ability to influence without authority, working with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to get things done.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and face to face communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong project management, organizational and management skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives with aggressive multi-project schedule.
  • Performance driven, detail and results oriented
  • Ability to travel to customer and prospect sites, as well as trade shows.
  • Three+ years of experience.
  • BS/BA degree in related field.
  • Operational Lottery and/or Gaming experience a strong plus
