About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding, ambitious, hard-working Product Manager with a technical background and experience in managing and delivering technical and/or SaaS products and platforms.

Location
Split between our Head Office in London and our Engineering Hub in Brighton, your time will be required at both locations to help bring the market and customer feedback and technical and operational considerations together to ensure our roadmap reflects the needs of all aspects of the business.

 

Responsibilities

● Ownership of the Product Roadmap

● Translating strategy and vision into clearly defined product features

● Working with the engineering team to estimate features and plan delivery

● Ensuring full alignment of product with founder teams vision

● Gathering feedback and input from customers and users


Activities

● Capturing new feature requests and ideas

● Running feature ideation and specification sessions

● Identifying requirements and writing user stories

● Facilitating and participating in feature prioritisation

● Quality assurance of product features, verifying acceptance criteria are met

Skills Required

● Knowledge of the typical enterprise technology stack

○ Previous experience as a software engineer or in a technical role

○ Understanding of and interest in information architecture and UI

● Strong communication and “convening skills”, with the ability to adapt to different teams and personalities

● Ability to work in an iterative, agile way in a fast moving company

● The power to say no, to push back on non-essential or misaligned ideas

● Curiosity, asking “why” to ideas from the business and “how” can we deliver these from the engineers

Person Specification

● You have a technical background ideally from an enterprise-focused IT or data company

● You have a minimum of 3 years experience building or managing MarTech, CRM or other data or enterprise- focused products

● You are interested in data, AI and machine learning

● You understand the importance of user experience

● You are able to show initiative and be productive both on your own and as part of a collaborative team

● You can put yourself in the user’s position and think through the best solution to a given problem from their perspective

Additional Information 

At Airfinity we have a technical stack consisting of Python, Node and React, we utilise Redshift and Postgres and rely heavily on AWS for our infrastructure.

Previous experience working with these technologies and/or products that utilise these would be a benefit. As would understanding of the fundamentals of web development, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, HTTP and REST.
