Position Summary:
The Lytx product team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager with a track record of driving new products from initial concept to launch. As part of the Product Management team, you will guide the future of our leading Video Based Fleet Management product line. The role calls for a bias toward action and the ability to break down complex problems into steps that drive rapid and impactful product development. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Engage with target customers and field teams to develop a clear understanding of customer goals and challenges
- Identify market opportunities and define a product strategy/road-map that is aligned with Lytx company objectives & product vision
- Deliver new products and product enhancements on road-map
- Serve as product owner on product development scrum teams(s)
- Define what product success means & measure results
- Collaborate with engineering to define, design and adapt features balancing the business / customer needs with technical / operational constraints & plan release dates
- Drive launch readiness w/ cross functional team leads including engineering, marketing, support, sales, finance and legal
- Work closely with UX to develop, test, and deliver design assets
- Clearly communicate product release plans, benefits and results, to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to produce sales education materials/ product messaging & Support to produce technical training materials
- Be the go-to expert for your product responsibilities
- Engage with Product and Engineering leadership to set the strategy for longer term business objectives
- Present product plans and strategy to executive leadership on a regular basis
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or related discipline
- 5 years of product management experience with a focus on software products and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment, familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Asana.
- Success developing products from concept to launch
- Strong ability to analyze, interpret and present data
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively interact with, present to and distill feedback from technical and non-technical people of varying backgrounds
- Must be highly collaborative, possess natural leadership skills, and ability to work with all teams in the company
- Proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to travel up to 25%
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong understanding of SaaS business model
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and enterprise customer leadership
- Experience with mobile user interfaces a strong plus
- Incorporated data/insights into the user experience
