Product Strategist

We are looking for an entrepreneurially-minded individual to be a key driver of thoughtful experimentation and innovation within an Agile product organization. This role will require you to lean on your analytical ability, user research skills, and product management expertise to ship real-world software products that solve problems for our readers and create growth for The Business Journals.

You should expect to:

  • Partner with business-unit owners to understand strategic priorities, conduct user research, and synthesize insights to create outcome-driven product roadmaps
  • Develop monetization strategies, revenue projections, and rollout plans alongside business-unit owners
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to conceptualize, design, test, and release products / feature enhancements
  • Optimize product performance post-launch based on KPIs

Ideal candidates will:

  • Be case builders and evangelists for ideas that lead to growth
  • Have experience that shows an ability to get ideas off the whiteboard and into the world
  • Be intellectually curious about questions that don’t have obvious answers
  • Have the ability to communicate clearly and build trust with executive decision makers
  • Be able to look at a situation, deconstruct it, and find a way to make it better
  • Have demonstrable business acumen or an MBA
