Product Manager (Commercial and Wider Markets)

London

c.£50,000

The Markets and Products (MAP) team is a key function at AAT with the responsibility to drive activity to support the business plan and encourage collaboration and efficiencies across the organisation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager (Commercial and Wider Markets) to join the MAP team here at AAT.

What will you be doing?

This Product Manager has a particularly exciting role to play with responsibility to develop strategies to support the development of AAT’s commercial revenues and drive non-qualification activity.

You’ll co-ordinate strategies to drive new product development, identify new audiences and develop revenues through media sales and sponsorship.

We want you to develop a strategic plan and drive revenues from employer relationships whilst managing agreed business KPIs.

What experience would be good to have?

You’ll have experience of developing and implementing business strategies and a desire to support commercial revenues. You will be passionate about helping AAT meet its goals and supporting colleagues across MAP and the business to be the best they can be.

You’ll have a strong commercial background and experience of implementing new product development processes. You will also be adept at relationship management and be able to use insights and key trends in customer interaction to drive strategy and tactical plans.

It is essential that you enjoy working with others and can adopt a collaborative approach, using your project management experience to drive projects forward and meet targets.

An ability to turn insight into action would be an advantage alongside a good understanding of the adult education landscape or professional bodies.

What we offer

The MAP team is an enthusiastic group of marketing professionals with an appetite to affect positive change and make a difference to AAT and its customers. The team’s work has an impact on all areas of the business making it a fun and highly visible place to work.

This role is for someone with the drive to make things happen but to do so in a positive and enthusiastic style.

  • Great salary of circa £50k
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Based in the heart of London with easy transport links nearby such as Farringdon, Liverpool Street and Barbican
  • Great pension scheme, Cycle2Work scheme, retail discounts and much more!

We are delighted that we have once again been named as one of the top 100 Sunday Times best not for profit organisations to work for 2019!  Not only that, but we were also recently named as Accountancy Body of the Year in the PQ awards.

Last year we also received the ‘Employer Newcomer of the Year’ award by the City of London’s ‘The Brokerage’ for our work with our first intake of summer interns.  We are proud of all of these achievements as this reflects what it is like to work at AAT, and our commitment to being an inclusive and welcoming place to work.  We have a pretty good medical cover (includes things like dental and optical expenses), fresh fruit and generous company pension contributions.  We believe in equality in the workplace, we have signed up to the women in finance charter and the employers network for equality and inclusion. Come and help us to make AAT an even better place to work!
