Director, Product Marketing

Earth Class Mail, is looking for a Director, Product Marketing, reporting to the VP, Marketing. We are seeking a talented Product Marketer, with strong messaging and go-to-market skills, to join the Earth Class Mail team to develop customer-centric narratives, go to market strategies, field enablement strategies, and deliver impactful programs to drive top-level business goals. The successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically. This person will be responsible for developing the product marketing strategy inputs including product/customer definition, customer messaging, pricing and distribution strategy. The ideal candidate will be metrics-driven with strong ownership and focus, with the ability to prioritize effectively and communicate clearly and persuasively. This is a highly visible role. Requirements
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Design product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers and partners
Have a deep understanding of the customer, with obsessive understanding of customers segments, new trends, and opportunities
Guide the prioritization, development and implementation of case studies and research to communicate the benefits of Earth Class Mail
Drive demand generation by understanding the customers buying journey
Build and execute effective marketing plans to drive awareness, adoption, and ongoing usage of Earth Class Mail products.
Develop product marketing launch playbooks and collaterals to support enterprise sales and online sales
Launch a partner engagement framework
Create targeted messages and customer communications based on the key value propositions and use cases of our content and target audiences.
Identify internal marketing automation and tool improvements that would help our marketing efforts, and champion their development
Walk in the customer’s shoes every day by owning and driving the Earth Class Mail voice of customer program, which includes communicating with customers on product improvements
Articulate complex technical and operational concepts in simple terms for the benefit of customers
Develop high-quality campaigns for product improvements and new product launches
Assess the market, competitors, industry trends and customer needs to inform product marketing plans
Utilizing customer segment research to identify longer-term channel, customer, and market segment trends
Act as subject matter expert for our products, educating others as needed

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years of experience in B2C and/or B2B marketing with a focus on partner marketing and/or product marketing
Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem-solving
Ability to create compelling sales collateral and marketing materials
Proven experience with diving deep into products to understand value drivers for customers

Preferred Qualifications

MBA
Project management experience and rigorous attention to detail
Experience with SAAS and/or subscription products
Ability to tell innovative and compelling stories
Experience conducting internal and external research and presenting recommendations to drive action
Ability to define and articulate ambitious plans and creative ideas to senior leaders and the company board.
Demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing messaging that lead to business growth
Entrepreneurial spirit/ability to try different things with minimal direction
Quick decision-making abilities demonstrating you can move fast under tight timing and pressure
