This role will serve as the Product Manager for an early-stage product in the democracy and civic engagement space. The tool is being designed to help organizations connect with people more effectively in today’s fast-moving, fragmented information environment.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to lead this effort—someone excited to shape strategy, own execution, and collaborate with a world-class team to deliver real impact at scale.
In This Role, You Will:
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a new core platform in the democracy and civic engagement technology ecosystem
- Lead the product from 0 to 1, defining goals, milestones, and success metrics
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to turn vision into reality
- Champion user needs through research, testing, and direct engagement with political campaign teams and organizers
- Navigate complex technical and political environments, and stakeholders with clarity and purpose
- Define and prioritize requirements, manage trade-offs, and drive sprint cycles
- Analyze product data and feedback to refine and improve the product continuously
- Represent the product to internal teams, external partners, and the broader progressive tech community
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of product management experience, including shipping complex, high-impact products
- A track record of leading 0→1 product builds in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Fluency in Agile methodologies, product discovery, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate closely with engineers
- Exceptional communication skills to align diverse stakeholders
- A deep commitment to user-centered design and continuous learning
- Mission-driven mindset with a passion for building tools that advance social change
- Ownership mentality—you’re comfortable setting the vision and getting into the weeds
What We’d Like To See:
- Background in democracy work, campaigns, organizing, or civic tech
- Experience replacing or modernizing legacy infrastructure
We are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation.
