As a Product Owner at Kuva Space, you will play a pivotal role in crystallizing and executing our product strategy, focusing on spaceborne hyperspectral imaging solutions for the global market. For this new role we are looking for a colleague with a demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end, client-facing software solutions. In this role, you will act as the critical link between our technology, software and business development teams, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to “speak both tech and business” are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Product lifecycle management, from ideation and design to overseeing implementation, post-launch evaluation, and continuous development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX/UI design, data science, marketing, and business development
- Lead daily collaboration with the development team to manage the product backlog, estimate tasks, prioritize features, enhancements and new products based on market trends and customer feedback
- Align product initiatives with the core needs and pain points of our target audience in finance, crop insurance, carbon, environment sector
- Participation in market research, competitive analysis, and gathering customer feedback to identify market trends and opportunities and utilizing insights to refine and enhance the product strategy
- Communicate product development progress as well as establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in managing B2B software products, translating customer and business needs into clear technical requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or another relevant field
Ability to balance competing or contradictory priorities - Adept at both qualitative and quantitative analysis, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Excel at stakeholder management and conflict resolution
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment - Familiarity with product management organizational software (e.g. JIRA, Trello, Asana)
- Outgoing personality and strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Practical experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban; relevant certifications are a plus (but not necessary)
- Previous experience/interest in space technology and the Earth Observation industry is a bonus

We are looking for a colleague to be based in the Uusimaa/Capital region in Finland. This role requires occasional travel as needed.
