The Role –
In order to support the rapid growth of Neo4j Aura – our managed solutions in the cloud – we’re in search of an experienced product manager leader to oversee the next phase of development and scale of the Aura Platform. As an ideal candidate, you will have a desire to use your knowledge of leading cloud services and container technologies to deliver world class fully managed services that delight customers. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that are aligned with the company’s vision and strategy. You will know how to execute tactically to meet immediate needs whilst also staying true to long term goals.
You will formulate a strategy to make best use of native services offered by major cloud service providers where possible whilst retaining flexibility and independence to respond quickly to customer and market requirements. As a senior member of the Aura product management team, you will help drive the product and business-planning process across key teams in the company.
- What you will do:
-Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for Aura Platform, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
-Be an external face of the company, presenting and articulating the value of Aura to Press, Analysts, Customers and partners
-Be an internal champion for Aura ensuring Neo4j stays true to the mantra of ‘cloud first’ when faced with challenging decisions of Engineer availability
-Expert in creating detailed use cases for specific persona, writing acceptance criteria and driving product backlog
-Make smart tradeoffs between desired product outcomes, business objectives, company resources, and time
-Work closely with engineering teams to assess and prioritize platform scalability and efficiency features to improve service profitability
-Own product launches including working with product marketing, analyst relations, executives, and regional marketing teams
-Build and maintain close relationships with peer product and engineering teams to ensure Aura priorities are understood and given sufficient consideration during their planning cycles
-Keep a keen eye on compatibility of all Neo4j products to ensure they work together to augment customer value
-Drive customer adoption, revenue growth and margin in line with company goals - What you will bring:
-10+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Manager delivering successful SaaS products
-Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end product lifecycle (conceptualizing, building, shipping, iterating, and scaling) a must
-Expert in creating detailed use cases for specific persona, writing acceptance criteria and driving product backlog
-Hands on experience with developing SaaS solution against at least one of the major Cloud providers – AWS, Azure and/or GCP
-Knowledge of cloud native architectures that deliver scale and scalable cost models
-Database, data science or data analytics experience is highly desirable
-Strong writing and editing skills combined with solid presentation and public speaking skills
-Hunger to learn new technologies and push the boundaries of what is possible with innovative problem solving
-Container and Kubernetes experience a huge plus - Neo4j Values:
