About the Role

The Director of Product, Digital Advertising sets the vision and strategy for how our brand/retailer customers leverage Stylitics visual outfitting and bundling content to deliver better results from their marketing, store, and direct mail channels.

This is a role for someone who knows the ins and outs of how digital marketing dollars are spent and measured in the current retail environment and has overseen the development and deployment of large scale digital marketing programs in the industry.

As the inaugural product leader of this area and products, you will be charged with understanding the digital marketing priorities of retail and brand customers by engaging with their marketing leadership, developing the right product roadmap and packaging, and delivering on that roadmap to drive revenue goals.

What You Will Do

  • You will be our in-house expert on digital advertising, with wide scope to identify and drive the right roadmap to capture the estimated $50M/year opportunity from existing Stylitics customers, with a huge opportunity for further growth
  • You will be a member of the company’s Leadership Team, helping to determine company-wide strategy and priorities
  • What you build will drive not only product and business strategy for Stylitics, but also the marketing strategies of 100+ of the world’s top brands and retailers and the daily experience of millions of everyday shoppers
  • When you succeed, you will have conceptualized and built industry-changing solutions that are used across every marketing channel, in 20 global markets, and deployed by most major retailers
  • You will be greatly appreciated by the CMOs of our customers, who are eager to adopt the next-generation Stylitics marketing tech roadmap!

Qualifications

Retail Marketing Experience:

  • Extensive experience in fashion or softlines retail, overseeing the investment and measurement of marketing spend across channels
  • Expert-level understanding of what retail marketing teams care about and what their challenges and roadblocks are today
  • Current and detailed knowledge of what drives successful marketing and/or omni channel initiatives for retailers, how they are implemented, and what makes them successful
  • Comfort and experience presenting to and working with senior executives at large retailers and brands, as a subject-matter expert

Product Management & Positioning Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience planning and deploying integrations and user-facing products and programs for marketing stakeholders and clientele
  • Proven record of successful metric-driven product impact in close collaboration with an engineering and product team
  • Experience identifying the needs of customers and prospects and developing product roadmaps to meet those needs
  • Proven record of translating needs and features into customer-facing messaging and positioning

Leadership Experience:

  • Very strong critical thinking and analysis skills. Ability to take an ambiguous problem, use data-informed brainstorming, identify goals and clear metrics, and drive a team to deliver on those goals
  • Comfort managing initiatives through influence and partnering with other teams
  • A collaborative and collegial leadership style with a history of nurturing and growing talent
  • Strong verbal/written communication & presentation skills
  • An exceptional ability to ask the right questions and spot issues when looking at data or insights

An MBA, MS, or equivalent advanced degree or experience is preferred

Salary

When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you and is fair on our end. We consider the skills and experience you bring, what similar jobs pay and make sure there’s equal pay for equal work among those you’ll be working with. The base compensation amount for this role is targeted at $140,000.00 – $180,000.00 USD annually. The final offer also takes into account other factors of a total compensation package. Please note that the range is being shared in good faith and is subject to modification based on changing market and business conditions.
