About us

  • Our group features the UK’s market-leading specialist education recruitment brands Teaching Personnel and Protocol Education as well as school services businesses Judicium, School Business Services and Thrive
  • Our culture is a mixture of entrepreneurial, start-up spirit backed by the resources and structure of an established, mature group
  • Our values emphasise that everything we do starts with our people; while we’re making significant investments in digital transformation, we’re taking a highly user-centred approach to deliver on the vision of digitally enabled business (not a ‘digital only’ business)
  • We’re a growth company and have held market leadership in a stable sector, delivering increasing shareholder value over a 10-15 year period.

About the role

We are seeking talented and experienced product management professionals who can drive significant impact at scale, in a sector that has a clear need for user-focussed digital products.

This Senior Product Manager role is focussed on the internal recruitment consultant experience. It requires detailed immersion and understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by our frontline teams matching educators to schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) up and down the country.

Apply a structured and value-driven product management approach
Using your product knowledge and experience, combined with a ‘systems thinking’ understanding of business processes, you’ll bring people together and articulate the ‘what, why and how’ we’ll drive change.

Explain your approach clearly
Communicate effectively with those who have not come across digital product development methodologies before and translate the benefits of doing things differently into plain English.

Harness insights from the front line
Use your discovery and user research skills to influence thinking and drive change at all levels.

Build a new ‘operating system’
Collaborate with our Tech team to build and evolve a suite of web-based products for our recruitment businesses that are at the heart of all company operations.

Work towards a new operating model for our recruitment businesses
You’ll be part of a group working towards an operating model that drives improved efficiency and satisfaction for our internal teams, their school clients, and educators.

Collaborate constructively and closely
You’ll work with many teams in the company, including Operations, Business Development, Technology, Marketing, Customer Success and People.

Drive business change and adoption
This isn’t a ‘typical’ product role; you’ll not only be delivering market-leading tech products, but you’ll be also driving transformational change in how our businesses operate, and developing a working culture that enables everyone in our staffing businesses to achieve.

Establish new norms
As part of the new Digital Product & Services team, you’ll contribute to discovering and establishing the strategies and working practices to underpin nimble, efficient, and impactful delivery at pace.
