Our lead product, Talis Aspire, is delivered software as a service and helps universities connect teaching and learning effectively. Our services benefit of over two million students around the world.

We have an established presence in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. We have already built an impressive and market-leading customer base in these regions.

We are now focused on growth for existing Talis products into large untapped markets and the successful introduction of new products.

As the senior product manager within the team reporting to the Head of Strategy, you will make a huge impact on our core products and new R+D. Managing an existing product portfolio and developing new profitable ideas for the business. You’ll create and deliver the product innovation strategy and plans, inspiring the product management team to deliver compelling customer led concepts achieved through robust product discovery and customer research to uncover the problems and opportunities faced in the market.

You’ll work closely with the marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits and target customer.

You will be working with an established software development team to define product release requirements

You’ll lead with ideation processes, running workshops that tease out information from various parties and stakeholders, boiling and distilling that down through repeated build-measure-learn cycles into a path for execution.

Help grow the capability of our current product team through mentoring and coaching.

What you will bring
Requirements
You’re confident in the tools and frameworks you use in order to bring structure and confidence to your product management process.
You have an enthusiastic approach to learning and being consistently curious and looking for further opportunities to explore and understand.
You are commercially and technically minded – able to understand concepts and explain constraints between the business and engineers.
Experience in Global education markets
Experience in SaaS Product Management
Travel
Predominantly based in the Birmingham area, however, some travel to client locations will be required from time-to-time
