Tarabut Gateway (TG) is the first and largest regulated Open Banking platform in the MENA, with offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE. TG connects a regional network of banks and FinTechs via a universal application programming interface (API). By offering tools that allow the facilitation and distribution of personalized financial services, TG enables financial institutions to build a new world of financial services in MENA.
From our earliest days, we quickly became the region’s first applicant to a ‘regulatory sandbox’ through the Central Bank of Bahrain.
The clear objective is to build an infrastructure that accelerates an industry transformation. A multisided platform that connects banks, fintechs, merchants, in the MENA region all on one platform, enabling a new realm of partnerships to be forged.
Fast forward to today, TG is in partnership with the largest banks in many countries. Our products are being built in Bahrain and will be shipped to wider markets. At present we are focusing on scaling up our software engineering and product team to continue to better serve the lives of all 550 million people in the region.
This is the beginning of our journey, and as we see early stage fintech accelerate in the other jurisdictions, there is no better time than now for the TG Platform to play its part in driving this new realm of financial services in MENA.

As our Product Manager, you’ll be one of earliest hires and playing a key role in the company. You will be joining the early created Product team (Platform), reporting into our VP Product and collaborating with our Head of Software Engineering, Head of Data and Chief Technology Officer.
As a result of the high growth and our speed of scaling, this is a role that can offer future opportunities to absorb wider leadership responsibilities depending on your ambitions. We are looking for someone that is confident and autonomous to own the product roadmap of our Open Banking platform that includes the bank integrations, a foundation of shared services, and tools needed. You’ll be responsible for gathering, managing and prioritising customer needs and turning into features. You will be expected to contribute to embed product management best practices and OB compliance, and act as the bridge between the tech team and wider business. We’ll need you to support our software engineers to understand business need, product solutions, product specifications, user stories and backlog refinement. You will lead on analysing, setting and evaluating concepts against KPIs and milestones to ensure we’re maximising the product’s value to the business, ultimately building a new wave of customer experience in the region.

– Extensive experience in product management in a technology/product engineering business
– Experience with agile product development
– Experience in platform development and technologies
– Experienced with deep stakeholder management across multiple teams and the ability to collaborate and influence effectively
– Experience with complex architecture and technology, being able to demonstrate knowledge of interdependencies and interconnected systems
– Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP and selection of technologies that are built for scale
– Practical background or education in computer science, software engineering, or related field
– Excellent communication skills, demonstrating ability to communicate complex topics, technical and business related, to different audiences
– Experience with local and remote/distributed teams a plus
– Experience within the fintech, payments or Open Banking space a bonus
