About the role
This is a pivotal role within the product department at Trinity; an exciting opportunity to design, develop and implement innovative new digital products as part of an enterprise-wide digital transformation programme for our English Language, Arts and Innovation verticals. You will work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to build products which address real customer needs and you will help to drive Trinity’s ambitious product roadmap by bringing your strategic product vision, perspective, and execution skills to bear on a range of programmes. You will take lead on project resourcing, ensuring that future capacity requirements for the Product Team are best matched to the skills and capabilities of the team. You will also help to mentor/coach less experienced team members to drive the implementation of best-practice product management methodologies throughout the team.
Designing new or enhanced digital products and features for our portfolio, product ownership and definition through implementation, measuring success and transitioning to BAU.
Leading cross-functional teams from across the organisation to help the organisation adopt digital-transformation related change.
Carrying out discovery tasks which will include, data analysis, qualitative and quantitative user research.
Managing and communicating with stakeholders from our central and international markets.
Analysis and modelling of new and existing E2E product commercials and overheads, and crafting of key documents such as product spec and business case.
Informing the MVP and product roadmap with customer and market feedback.
Research and analysis of the competitive landscape and longer term market direction.
Analyse the product roadmap to assess the Product function resource demands, availability and constraints to develop effective resources allocation plans.
Collaborate with Associate Product Directors to understand their expectations and requirements.
Develop and implement resource planning strategies to align resource allocation with project demands, organisational goals, and the skills/experience in the team.
Optimise resource utilisation by identifying and resolving conflicts, bottlenecks or imbalances in resource allocation.
About you
– Educated to degree level or equivalent and evidence of relevant continued professional development in product management, strategy, and marketing / or analytics.
– An accomplished Product Manager, ideally with a deep understanding of the education technology sector and international product management.
– Prior experience in fast-paced technology organisations and ideally have taken at least one exceptional digital product from inception through to market launch.
– You will have experience of working with teams to adopt new practices as a result of digital transformation.
– Experience of using business analytics to understand how products impact the overall business.
– Experience of project resource planning, allocation and optimisation principles and methodologies
