Product Manager – Entertainment Payroll

Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager – ideally with payroll or fintech experience to join our growing team at We Got POP in East London.

About us

We’re the UK’s leading FilmTech startup. Recently acquired by the global Entertainment Company – Entertainment Partners – and based in Shoreditch, we recently launched in the US and have big ambitions for 2020.

We’re focused on delivering great user value to productions, casting agents, artists and crew. We are removing the headache of friction filled on and offset processes, using our clever platform. A dynamic, creative industry – you could be part of the fabric of how Hollywood productions get made.

POP’s credits already include box office’s blockbusters such as; Spectre, Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens, Wonder Woman and Darkest Hour.

As Product Manager you will have a meaningful impact on helping us reach our business objectives, to help us launch a digital entertainment payroll platform.

Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in a Product Manager role
You’ve shipped world-class products in a fast-growing company before
You’ve prioritised and executed product roadmaps
Keen interest in the entire product development process from idea to implementation
Experience of delivering complex products with an MVP led iterative approach
Experience researching and analysing user behaviour both quantitatively and qualitatively and integrating insights gained into product roadmap
Experience writing and articulating user stories and acceptance criteria and/or some ability to create wire frames and screen flows
Familiar with best practices in web and mobile development, including accessibility, usability and design
Very well organised, a self-starter able to drive the product process and work collaboratively
Keen interest in the complexities of finance / payroll / tax / compliance
Experience leading developers
Passionate about building the best possible user experience, and you monitor your metrics to see whether you’re delivering

Bonus points for:

Experience working on a payroll or other finance product
Experience owning the end to end product lifecycle for a successful product
Experience of working in/with an Agile (particularly Scrum) team
Experience in a startup/young company
Working with global teams and stakeholders
