Full-Time Product Manager

Beauhurst – Posted by MarieFindlay London, England, United Kingdom

Job Description

Do you see yourself as a future Head of Product, growing a platform with a genuine USP, clear value to users and huge potential? Using your creativity and powers of analysis to develop an inspiring product vision? Working with a fun, thoughtful team to bring that vision to life?

At Beauhurst, we’re building the essential tool for finding and understanding the UK’s most ambitious companies. We have a comprehensive and rapidly expanding data set on these companies and their environment. Our platform is an exciting, SaaS product that allows users to access that data in ever more valuable ways.

It’s already helping a massive range of people to understand this space – from well known organisations like Deloitte and Reuters to small, high-growth companies themselves. We have big ambitions for the product, with a multitude of new features and markets to be explored.

We’re looking for someone creative, diplomatic and analytical, with a few years’ experience in product management, to take on this vital role. We want you to join us as Product Manager, with a view to ultimately becoming our Head of Product – playing a leading role in company strategy, delighting our users and taking our platform to sophisticated new levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate our current product vision and start to develop that vision
  • Prioritise new features and work with our UX Designer and Developers to take them from idea to launch
  • Write feature specs that streamline the development workflow and ensure our users’ needs are met
  • Improve our product analytics to generate insights
  • Manage our growing Product team and continually improve its workflow

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in a software-related product manager or product owner role, during which you’ll have overseen feature or product shipping from idea to launch.

You’ll have:

  • Written feature specs and/or user stories
  • Managed and prioritised a roadmap and feature backlog
  • Conducted and coordinated user research
  • Mentored or coached more junior members
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment (not necessarily a start-up)

You’ll be:

  • Technically savvy: we don’t expect you to code new features but you’ll be able to understand the value, complexity and trade-offs involved in software development
  • Top-notch communication skills: you’re patient, diplomatic and able to convey complex information to stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds
  • Deeply analytical: you love data and know how and when to extract insights without suffering from “analysis paralysis”
  • A quick and keen learner

Benefits

Salary: £45 – 55k, depending on experience.

As well as that, we’re delighted to offer:

  • Substantial options scheme, so you can share in the growth you contribute to
  • Fantastic culture – you’ll be welcomed into a quirky, fun and intelligent team, committed to seeking and supporting personal development
  • Penthouse Brixton office with rooftop terrace and incredible views
  • Personal development budget for courses, conferences, training and any reading material that interests you
  • Flexible hours
  • Matched pensions scheme
  • Season ticket travel loan
  • Great company social life – Friday drinks in the office, regular events and free lunches
