to ensure the success of Finnair’s strategy and growth. To achieve this, you will focus on understanding customer and business needs, optimizing user experience and managing key performance metrics. Your primary role will be to drive the success and performance of the global Finnair.com environment, which is an integral part of our Digital Platform. Our digital experience caters for sales and servicing, building loyalty and engagement with our customers, and enabling us to introduce new services and ideas for market adaptation.

As the owner of our global digital experience on Finnair.com, you will be managing various stakeholders and the product team to build the experience. You will also be the spokesperson for our finnair.com, communicating major developments and milestones both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will include developing Finnair.com, which consists of:

  • Create and maintain the product backlog
  • Planning and execution of the product strategy, practices and activities
  • Driving uptake and activation of Finnair.com usage
  • Creating inspiring, strategic, and innovative ideas/products for rapid deployment
  • Collaborating with other product owners to uphold business priority and vision
  • Ownership of discovery and expression of product vision and roadmap
  • Prioritizing product releases and features to ensure business goals are achieved
  • Developing insight, explore and define product requirements that support the customer

In this role the job-holder is responsible for strategy, performance and digital experience. In addition to this, Product Owner will participate in ensuring the availability as well as implementation of operational and analytical tools and processes for the function.

As you will be driving the opportunity assessment and prioritization of all digital development for Finnair.com, you are expected to have a strong background in leading and building teams, eCommerce, digital development, and providing insight and analysis to discover opportunities for growth and service excellence, delighting our customers with exceptional digital services. In addition, we expect you to have:

  • Relevant experience in similar role
  • Strong understanding of digital concepts, strategy and best practice (ideally gained from a customer focused environment)
  • Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Proven track record in New Product Development and/or Business Management within a digital environment in a media, consumer internet or consumer tech company
  • Sound technical understanding
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong track record of innovation, and proven experience in working in an agile product development environment
  • Commercial mind with the ability to use data and insights to drive solutions and continuously improve performance and experience of products
  • Fluency in English. Finnish or Swedish is considered as an asset
  • M.Sc. or equivalent
